A Course in Miracles (ACIM): The Ego and Forgiveness

Question: Is there a role of forgiveness within a Course in Miracles?

Answer: Forgiveness within a Course in Miracles is really correction in the mind. Through the metaphysical aspect, you’ve got a split mind. The whites in the split system is the ego (wrong mind). The other side may be the Holy Spirit (right mind) which produces correction, also called forgiveness. Within this split mind scenario, you’ll still retain your final decision maker – observer and also this lets you select from the split mind portions. You have not dropped it. When you purchase judgment, you’re still choosing.

You can’t be a slave two masters.

Forgiveness is summed up simply simply because this: Go with a different internal Teacher to the correction in the mind. God does not recognize judgment or that any error was ever produced. To enter the Kingdom, the mind have to be returned to true perception which can be another reputation for peace.
