A great deal of love goes into the bits of solid timber furniture created at Buywood, through the quality workmanship of our own very skilled craftsmen by way of your input like a client commissioning a tailor made piece. On this post we would have liked to provide you with some insight into what differentiates the timber furniture made at Buywood from other furniture makers across Australia.
High Quality Solid Timber
At Buywood Furniture we use top quality, recycled solid timber from sustainable sources to create unique, timeless home furniture. Once built, our timber pieces undergo an intensive sanding and polishing process by skilled polishers. As each bit of furnishings are made to order at our Alderly workshop, any one of our furniture designs could be tailor made with the top quality timber which you decide on.
Custom Made Furniture
Our specialty at Buywood is creating tailor made pieces to accommodate the precise needs of our own clients. People in all of us enjoy meeting customers personally over a one-to-one basis to determine their requirements and be sure how the solid timber furniture they commission is a perfect fit for their home. Lee Kenny, who owns Buywood Furniture hand sketches all designs made by the Buywood team, and oversees each design from initial drawings to final polishing. If you were involved in designing your piece of furniture, you will end up invited to your Alderly workshop to check on its progress, and our experienced team will assist you with installing the piece in your house.
Four Generations Strong
Lee Kenny is often a 4th generation furniture maker who works across each of the custom furniture manufactured by the Buywood team. He prides himself over a traditional procedure for furniture making, which slows the fabrication process and utilises traditional joinery techniques to create pieces that last a lifetime. Activities like the if the way ahead for Australia’s manufacturing companies are uncertain, Buywood Furniture is proud to possess been Australian made and Australian owned for four generations of craftsmen.
