What SB-3 Carbide Burr RPM speed the use of?
The pace of which you use your carbide burr inside your rotary tool depends on the material you’re using it on along with the contour being produced but it’s reliable advice you do not need greater than 35,000 RPM. If your burs are chipping easily this may be due to the speed being not fast enough. It’s ideal to begin the bur off slow, helping the speed in the process. High speeds will prevent clogging in the flutes of your respective carbide burs.
As with most drill bits and burrs, let the burr perform the work and apply just a little pressure, otherwise the cutting edges with the flutes will chip away or become smooth too quickly, lowering the life of your burr.
