On this page, let’s discuss how ACIM explains the split mind using the many judgments and fragments all pointing to 1 key judgment like a starting place. The others is merely icing on the layered cake. The ego just isn’t as difficult to overcome as the ego would have you believe. It simply doesn’t want you to understand how it works because if you did, you may and would, choose against it. That’s death towards the ego.
The Metaphysics of methods your head Split:
From ACIM, we understand which a “tiny mad idea” entered your head which split mental performance between: (1) an element which remains with Knowledge; and, (2) a part that banished itself from Knowledge. To simplify things, let us take it right from the start introducing this concept in the key judgment.
Imagine a diagram with an oval and contours dividing the levels in the mind as we’re discussing them. First, at the bottom in the oval, you will find the non-conscious mind which is Knowledge, Heaven and Oneness, or everything that is. Everything here’s one and there is nothing to select from. Now put a line just above this and we’ll go on to the following section.
Next will be the super unconscious mind plus this the main diagram, you would write in: God, Christ. Notice we didn’t say God “and/or” Christ as these aren’t two something more important, nor could they be separate. Those are the non-conscious mind (Knowledge, Heaven and Oneness) obtaining the experience of itself.
Here’s why through the Law of Creation in ACIM:
You can not create anything unlike yourself.
You love all of your creations as yourself as the are like you.
All of your creations remain an element of you.
Ideas do not leave their source (you).
The same rules sign up for God.
Therefore, in these first two levels of the mind, everything: (1) is the same; (2) creates a lot of same; (3) experiences the identical; and, (4) all sameness stays sticking with the same.
Now draw another line and this time, we’ll introduce the split inside the mind. In the middle of this Oneness experience, a vital thought (judgment) entered the mind which goes something similar to, “Hey, basically can easily see you, I must be separate.” This can not true because it violates regulations of Creation. The thing is that judgment was heard and believed and therefore the ego’s judgment, or even the “tiny mad idea” takes root in the mind.
This lines are the split inside the mind or even the original separation; however, in ACIM, it just means “banished itself from knowledge,” as judgment violates legislation of Creation. Judgment thinks precisely what is incorrect in regards to you, is not a a part of you, nothing like you and are only able to make more judgments to disguise itself.
If this type of weren’t true about judgment, then God could not exist and neither can you. If God were judgment, and that he could only create like Himself, the real key would create more judgment so that He would have the experience of judging Himself. That judgment of self remaining part of Him would self-destruct Him as judgment is predicated in fear and guilt and wants to get rid of those feelings and kills to do this. You’d probably be long dead because you would be much like that.
You now know why mental performance can be returned to God as you are living proof the fact judgment is just not real. Your head never left God. It heard judgment and will stop this at anytime. It’s understanding what to never focus on, i.e., exactly what is a judgment?
The ego comes up which has a variety of things with the next three (3) amount mind, each using a line bewteen barefoot and shoes on our diagram. I have listed projections (judgments) when they key judgment of products the ego wants considered to stay alive. Here are a couple of these:
The Unconscious Mind
sin – guilt – fear
The Subconscious Mind
special relationships – victimization – more judgments of others separate – projections
The Conscious Mind (thoughts and behaviors)
victim/victimization – judgment – projection – addiction – grievances – hate – anger – war – specialness – death – forgive to sneak – sin – fear – guilt – special relationships – (self) interest – depression – vengeance – mindless – attack – kill or perhaps be killed – blame – opinions – beliefs – ideas – abundance – creation
These are generally all the ego’s form of reality. Now let’s discuss the way the ego hides all the judgments by fragmenting the crooks to make you stay stuck within the illusion.
