Online attacks locally for any Course in Miracles (ACIM) are using the many comments, quotes and also other postings wherein we react to our interpretation that becomes the justification for the response (T-12.I.1) or our cause of posting, etc. All students have a very basic confusion between form and content along with what it ways to join so let’s not sugar coat it: Social media marketing is forms (projected content with the ego wrong mind) from joining together with the wrong mind. Even during the program, many of us sit around online with some form of a digital device mindlessly doing our ego thing. Okay, some could be standing, leaning or lounging:
Sitting around and talking about the Course is not same task as doing the difficult work of staring at the text and putting the principles into practice to learn what are the Course means (Kenneth Wapnick, Rules for Decision).
From the same Rules, Wapnick also says, “What gives the ego its power is the having merged with it, your identification from it.” Forms are projected as being a defense contrary to the opposite and are just with the ego wrong mind and so they don’t matter.
Since social networking is about forms which are fragmented projections of the ego, we have been then perceiving the Sonship as fragmented helping to make the mistake real. Specialness is valued just as one idol placed ahead of the Love of God and people perceived differences take care of the separation from the mind. Absolutely any fragmented attribute we judge in another online (or anywhere) must be noticed in all the Sonship since we’re really One inch reality. That’s the reason attack isn’t discrete and ought to be relinquished (T-7.VI.1).

From the Course, “To teach is usually to demonstrate (M-in.2) and we are always teaching, or demonstrating the ego or God every moment, i.e., the content mind which we’ve decided to join or identify. For contrast, this content with the ego is many projected as well as forms; as well as the content of the right brain is unity, sameness, i.e., Love (no projections). There isn’t any exceptions. It’s one or the other.
Our brothers certainly are a a part of us. They are the ones who teach us who were for our learning is caused by what we have taught them (T-9.VI.3) – the ego or God – always. Because dreamer with the dream (T-27.VII.), our dream figures (those online here and our brothers) do what we are dreaming they certainly determined by what we’ve taught (demonstrated). Therefore, they may be innocent because it is our dream. We taught separation or a murderous attack thought against God so many of us demonstrate said attack in many fragmented forms. Yet as we forgive ourselves for we’ve got taught (chosen) instead of attacking, we discover who we are through our brothers that are exactly the same.
When we’re posting quotes, comments or use Course language “at” another were really attacking (unloving reminders). When we take into consideration how “at” feels we know the world thinks in separation and differences. The commands or demands from the ego has to be answered “at” a separated fragment (brother) and then we carry on and demonstrate our original attack thought and repress our guilt. Course students then go and obtain online with one of these many ideas of specialness as well as their unloving reminders which fragments your head and maintains the separation (the contrary of unity) which is problem.

The person – really we all – has accepted the ego’s thought system as true.
To repeat this important caution, most of the time you’d never repeat the words, “The same choice I cause you to can make, because our mind are one.” Love’s presence that’s outside of the ego’s thought product is what teaches, not by your words, but from the teacher you’ve selected in your head, the presence inside you. You will be teaching ACIM and obtain every theological point correct, but when there is absolutely no love with your heart, you are not teaching ACIM (Ibid Kindness, Vol.1, Kindle Locations 396-399, underline mine).
A teacher of God is anyone who has accepted his / her function, which would be to teach and learn forgiveness… We teach that which you are learning and, as we train it to say, we learn it (Just what it Way to Be described as a Teacher Of God, Part 1, FACIM, Kenneth Wapnick).
God’s peace is recognized initially by just a very important factor: In each and every way it’s totally unlike all previous experiences. It calls in mind nothing that went before. It brings from it no past associations. It is a new thing entirely (M-20.2).
The ego commands action (like posting comments, quotes and using language “at” others). The Holy Spirit will not command. It merely reminds (T-5.II.7). Remember, it’s one or other, i.e., an unloving or loving reminder. – always.
