Many West Country communities know the name George Pulman well. He or she is considered something of the Victorian media mogul who founded Pulman’s Weekly News way back in 1857.

His media brands continued to be an abundant news source for upwards of 150 year through the entire prime agricultural counties of Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

Publishing, in most its various forms, remains to be as relevant in today’s world in just exactly as it turned out when George Pulman was alive.
