When have to the amazing wedding speech be provided…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; an easy wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; one to three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

While we’re talking about the second, wedding speeches remain an important part of a marriage and guests do anticipate hearing them, speaking about them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, during the meal after the meal, yet it is of a strong opinion the wedding speeches ought to be delivered after the meal. I know that for many wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they would prefer to hold the wedding speeches prior to the meal, to allow them to enjoy their meal (many of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and how a lot of them (and indeed the marriage venue staff) would like the wedding ceremony speeches being delivered following the meal for a lot of reasons, a few of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not paying attention to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which may be the case ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches before the meal along with their could be a delay of A quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition from your meal on the dancing (broke happening following your meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared about the Bride & Groom after which they are fully aware they’re able to get up, move around, take a break, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It can be difficult for parents from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, as the majority of them may not be used of it. So, they might, should they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should always be some form of formal speech(es) following the meal…
