The moment must the great wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Talking about the latter, wedding speeches are still an important part of a married relationship and guests do look ahead to hearing them, referring to them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, in the meal and after your food, however it’s of an strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered after the meal. I understand that for many bridal party speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they might prefer to hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and just how many of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered following the meal for most reasons, most of which include:

The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which may be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches prior to meal in addition to their could be a delay of Fifteen minutes to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches become the transition from the meal for the dancing (broke happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared concerning the Bride & Groom after which they understand they’re able to get up, move about, take a break, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It can be difficult for moms and dads in the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, as most of them wouldn’t be used from it. So, they can, when they so wished, speak before the / their meal.

There should always be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
