The moment have to the wonderful wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to six course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

While we’re talking about the second, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a married relationship and guests do look ahead to hearing them, discussing them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered before the meal, throughout the meal after the meal, yet it’s of the strong opinion that this wedding speeches ought to be delivered following your meal. I know that for many wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father of the father of the groom speech (the 5 main speakers), they would choose to have the wedding speeches before the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and the way many of them (as wll as wedding ceremony venue staff) would prefer wedding ceremony speeches to become delivered following the meal for many reasons, many of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which could be so ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches before the meal and their might be a delay of A quarter-hour to a single.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches act as the transition from your meal to the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ being shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which they are fully aware they could wake up, move about, take a break, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It can be difficult for fogeys from the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public places, since most of them may not be used of computer. So, they can, when they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should nevertheless be some kind of formal speech(es) following your meal…
