1. A: Hawthorne effect. The name arises from studies of workers at a factory called Hawthorne Works during the early section of the 20th century. The analysis discovered that when workers know they’re being monitored in an experiment, the outcome with the experiment are generally different than those achieved by workers taking part in a similar experiment who’re unaware they are being monitored.
