The 2 Wheel Self Balancing Electric Scooter

With the relieve the modern 2 wheel self balancing electric scooter, 2015 has become an exciting year for gadget fans. Across the world, individuals are taking to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to create photos and videos of themselves zipping around about this 2 wheel contraption which basically appears to be a board with a wheel on each side.

Nicknamed the ‘swegway’ (as a consequence of it’s likeness on the Segway, but a ‘cooler’ version) we are really not sure entirely where this specific smart electric scooter comes from or who invented the initial. Probably it comes from some factory in China. The very first glimpses we were treated to than it on tv were something called the IO Hawk, a scooter that will set you back a whopping $1800. It was back January of 2015. Ever since then many cheaper versions of the same product attended out there along with the average price currently looks like it’s around $500.

So how exactly does it work? Basically you get up on both panels and shift the body weight slightly forward or slightly back and yes it senses this bodyweight change and moves backwards or forwards. Additionally, it may turn right or left. This smart electric scooter is proving to be so popular that it is being touted because personal mobility device of the future. Who would like to walk when you can glide, right? Plus it’s really a lot faster than walking, travelling at speeds of 6mph to 10mph.
