2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock tune has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key goal of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session players to record the track durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the very best result and quality. The track is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site as we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to 1 or any of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
The other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the track to help fund and set up a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to help including a Phuket Accommodation and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
