Search engine for touristic excursions to any place in the world A brand new 2016 Xmas rock tune has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used local session players to record the song durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then ideally in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
Another main goal is to be able enough downloads of the tune to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and .
