2016 Christmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session players to record the song durring a six week period. The songs includes 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA because of Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The track ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main purpose of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to at least one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the song.
One other definitive goal is to be able enough downloads of the music to help fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his tune Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
